In Part 2 of this blog series, we’re looking at bean-to-cup coffee machines and explain why they’re a popular choice for many businesses. Bean-to-cup coffee brewers are commonly found in professional settings like office buildings, car dealerships, doctor’s offices or hospitality, but they are a viable option for just about any location.

If you missed Part 1, check it out!

What Is It?

Bean-to-cup coffee machines are an all-purpose, versatile coffee solution that can make your favorite drinks quickly and easily. Unlike traditional machines that brew coffee into a large pot, bean-to-cup machines are geared toward single-serve drinks. Its focus on individual use means that coffee is brewed faster in a smaller portion.

How Does it Work?

Every bean-to-cup brewer is designed to be a simple and convenient coffee solution. With the help of our service technicians, each machine is installed to a water line for instant access to its supply. After that, all you need are coffee beans! If you own a coffee machine and plan on switching it out for something new, your existing beans can be used to brew from a bean-to-cup machine. Don’t hesitate to use your favorite flavors in a new gadget.

At the touch of a button, the brewer will do all of the hard work for you. Shortly after start-up, the coffee beans are ground, the water is heated, and your drink is dispensed in front of you. Although these are single-serve brewers, the size of the cup can be chosen so that a smaller or larger amount of coffee is poured. You can also customize the strength of your coffee for the perfect cup each time.

Modern Utility

Many bean-to-cup machines are controlled using an onboard or accompanying touch screen display. Just one example of this can be seen in the Excellenza Touch, a device that features a 10.1” LCD touchscreen for easy drink selection. Navigating the screen is simple, efficient, and gives users a look at what to expect from their next order. The same is true of TopBrewer, another fantastic bean-to-cup coffee solution. Each TopBrewer unit is controlled via the onboard iPad, making for an intuitive experience in coffee selection.

Essential Bonuses

Many bean-to-cup machines sport extra features that upgrade everyday use into a cafe-style experience. One example is the VKI bean-to-cup unit which adds milk and hot chocolate options to the menu. Similarly, the TopBrewer can dispense hot chocolate and contains a compartment for fresh milk storage.
