With the acquisition of Brooklyn-based, full-service caterer Martin + Fitch, Corporate Essentials is able to introduce a new concept to the office catering world consisting of high quality, seasonal fresh food.

Whether an office is looking to supply food for an occasional workplace party, a regular Friday happy hour or daily grab-and-go lunches, Martin + Fitch is able to deliver. With menus changing daily and inspired by the seasons, Martin + Fitch is able to provide delicious, better-for-you meal options for employees.

Martin + Fitch co-founder Maura Martin joins the Corporate Essentials team as the Executive Chef. Martin has cooked for four of the last five U.S. Presidents, as well as providing catering services for the likes of Elie Tahari, Stephen Colbert, Tory Burch, The Tribeca Film Festival and more.

In addition to office catering, Martin + Fitch will continue to act as a boutique catering and events company. From photo shoots and drop off catering, to large full service events, Martin + Fitch can help you choose your venue, hire staff and design the space.

Through our exclusive partnership with the James Beard Foundation, Corporate Essentials has created a program to create customized menus for its corporate events and catering customers.

Corporate Essentials has partnered with a James Beard Foundation award winner or nominated chef every month. Each week, a different signature dish created by the chef will be featured throughout the month as a specialty offering through Martin & Fitch, Corporate Essentials’ new epicurean catering division. The program will give our customers access to an unrivaled variety of culinary selections from ten distinct regions throughout the United States. This premium workplace food offering ensures that Corporate Essentials’ customers are given the ultimate “foodie” experience to appeal to every palette, regardless of food preference or dietary restrictions.

Maura Martin

As Martin + Fitch’s Executive Chef, Maura Martin brings her talents from a prosperous career and her love of food to create something magnificent. She believes that ingredients are somehow predestined and fresh, seasonal, whole foods prepared perfectly are one of the greatest joys in life. After attending La Varenne in Paris, Maura traveled for a year where she was able to experience the cuisines of Europe, Asia, South America and the Middle East. Throughout her career as a private chef, restaurant owner and caterer she has cooked for some of the most recognizable names in film, music, fashion and finance. Maura is very excited to join the Corporate Essentials team and bring her eclectic, seasonally inspired cuisine to the world of corporate catering.

Angela Foo MS, RD

As a registered dietitian and chef, Angela Foo brings a unique perspective and skill set to the Martin + Fitch team. After gaining a wide range of experiences in the food and nutrition industry – from editorial management to nutrition education to international nutrition aid – Angela expanded her culinary repertoire by working in the kitchens of French, new American, and Japanese restaurants in New York City. While cooking in restaurants, Angela further developed her culinary nutrition philosophy of putting real foods first and highlighting seasonal produce and products. She hopes to continue this philosophy and bring delicious, balanced meals to the workplace as Martin + Fitch’s Catering Nutritionist.

Eran Dermer

Graduating with honors from the Art Institute Of New York in 2005, Martin + Fitch’s Executive Sous Chef, Eran Dermer, has worked his way up the ladder in some of the best catering companies in NYC. During his tenure at the Raging Skillet, “one of the wildest catering companies in New York” as reviewed by The New York Times, the company was awarded “Best Wedding Caterer in New York“ by The Knot magazine for 8 consecutive years. Chef Eran is influenced by his Mediterranean heritage and travels around the globe, focusing on high quality ingredients, simplicity and keeping a personal touch while creating large events. His summer peach cobbler recipe was featured in Bust magazine, and, if you’re lucky, you’ll get a taste of his babka!
