This holiday season, in lieu of gifts, Corporate Essentials made donations to Make-A-Wish Foundation New Jersey, Doctors Without Borders and Wounded Warrior Project on behalf of our customers. We sent a survey out to our customers to find out which charity they wanted their contribution to go towards, tallied the responses, and split a grand total of $15,000 between the three charities based on the results.
Make-A-Wish Foundation New Jersey: $5,730.00.
The local chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation grants the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses in the Garden State. This holiday donation will send a team of wish granters to help a child realize their one true wish. They then create a personalized day to make lasting memories and give them the energy to keep fighting.
Doctors Without Borders: $4,905.00.
This donation provides financial assistance to the global movement in order to continue providing emergency medical care to men, women and children in over 70 countries around the world.
Wounded Warrior Project: $4,365.00
This donation allows WWP to offer life saving programs that are crucial to our veterans, their families and caregivers. It allows the charity to continue offering their services free of charge and tailored to each veteran’s unique circumstance.
