When looking for a keynote speaker for our “Let’s Get Real: A Morning of Coffee & Culture” event, we sat down with the idea of putting together a list of speakers who both know our market (NYC and NJ) and understand today’s workplace. The first name that came up, actually ended up being the only name on the list – Gary Vaynerchuk.

Gary, can be summed up in two words; pure hustle. He is considered a quintessential maven of modern-day marketing. The CEO and Co-Founder of Vaynermedia has been named one of Forbes Magazine’s “40 Under 40” and has more than 1.1 million Twitter Followers. He is both a New York Times and Wall Street Journal best-selling author, and has appeared on countless programs from Jimmy Fallon, Late Night with Conan O’Brien and Ellen to MSNBC, CNBC, CNN and NPR.

Gary’s understanding of today’s business environment, and corporate culture started when he launched New Jersey-based WineLibraby.com in 1997, growing his family business from $3 million to $45 million by 2005. It carries over today in his work at Vaynermedia and can be seen in his weekly #AskGaryVee series on his YouTube Channel.
