Is it a bird? A plane? No, it’s…

…THE OFFICE HERO INITIATIVE!

This story begins with a single company mascot, Kate the Office Hero.

Corporate Essentials hired The Draw Shop to create a white-board commercial for Corporate Essentials. The story features Kate, an employee at a company who wants to attract and retain top talent. After successfully implementing a coffee and healthy snack program with the help of Corporate Essentials, Kate is able to achieve her company’s goal and is transformed into an Office Hero.

I loved the idea of Corporate Essentials having a mascot, so I took the character from the video, cleaned up her design a bit more, put a little life into her, and…SHAZAM! I officially turned her into “Kate the Office Hero”!

Kate turned out to be a cute and spunky looking character, but I couldn’t stop there. From that point on, I decided to push the borders of this “hero” agenda and create several other unique and interesting characters that reflect the fun and collaborative world of Corporate Essentials. One by one, I carefully finished each character design until they collectively became the “Office Hero Initiative”. These designs illustrate the original and captivating style of Corporate Essentials’ in-house graphic designer, and yours truly, Leah K Seretis.

From sketch to completion, I had a great deal of fun designing each character to represent the six individual departments that our clients engage with daily. And just as fun and friendly as these characters appear to be, so too are the actual people who work hard to provide the best possible service to our clients! Who says great service can’t come in 2-D & 3-D?

From left to right and front to back, I introduce to you:

  • Shana the Customer Consultant
  • Kate the Office Hero
  • Rosa the Customer Service Representative
  • Dan the Driver
  • May the Site Attendant
  • Enrique the Warehouse Associate
  • Will the Service Technician

Together, Corporate Essentials’ superheroes work hard everyday to make sure their customers have an Office Hero of their very own.

I have personally always been a fan of superheroes and comic books…so what better way to bring that passion to life than to illustrate it into something as colorful and compelling as a comic book cover poster design of the Office Hero Initiative!

Now that you’ve met our superheroes, you’ll soon become even more familiar with them. These characters will be sure to show face online and throughout many of our marketing and design collateral. They’re here to help provide a friendly visual and understanding to our current and prospective clients.

As for Kate…she represents the very people who have fearlessly handed over their boring break room situations to Corporate Essentials. Her role amongst the Initiative is meant to encourage prospective clients to become Office Heroes (just like her!). Why? Because we know it’s a HUGE responsibility fighting off the dark forces of boring office coffee, snacks, and drinks…or worse; lack thereof!

That’s why Corporate Essentials and the Office Hero Initiative has your back. The best part is that YOU can become an Office Hero, too! Our team of heroes (both real and cartoon) are always there to make sure your break room and office refreshments are up to ”Super Status”, and that your job is as easy as can be! Leave it to us to make your Office Refreshment Experience one that fuels culture, and gets you and your coworkers working happy.

So never fear…the Office Hero Initiative is here!
